Advanced Editing and Quality assurance

A 4-hour interactive online course designed to give a basic understanding of editing as a potential area of services diversification for linguists, translators, interpreters, terminologists, etc., improve editing techniques and productivity, enhance team collaboration, and help project managers identify and recruit the right professionals and text specifications.
Itzaris Weyman is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Languages and Linguistics. She has traveled Europe and the Americas and has worked in the translation industry in Panama, Brazil, Canada, and the United States. Itzaris is an ATA- certified translator from ENG>SPA. A translation production expert with in-house administrative experience in the industry. She brings both linguistic and practical business acumen to quality management issues in the field. She has also served on the Board of Directors of FLATA (Florida Chapter of the American Translators Association – now ATIF) and on its Nominating and Bylaws Committees. Itzaris is an ATIF member since 2010.
This course is awaiting CIE approval from Florida Court Interpreter Certification and Regulation Program (FCICRP) and CEP from the American Translators Association (ATA). Kindly check ATIF social media for status information.
