“Indigenous Languages and Interpreting” presented by Georganne Weller

Dr. Georganne Weller is a U.S. Federally Certified Court Interpreter since 1997 and U.S. Department. of State independent contractor since 1978. She also holds a Canadian Government Qualification for Conference Interpretation since 1999. This course will focus mainly on identifying the major challenges and techniques when interpreting indigenous languages.

This course has been awarded a total of 4.8 CIE credits (CEAA# 18-0258) from the Office of the State Courts, 4 credits from the American Translators Association (ATA) and we have requested credits from the IMIA and CCHI. Please remember this course is $FREE for members of ATIF.
