Joint National Committee for Languages (JNCLS)

The Joint National Committee for Languages and the National Council for Languages and International Studies (JNCL-NCLIS) will be hosting its annual Language Advocacy Day and Delegate Assembly on February 16-17, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. Language advocates from all sectors of the language enterprise – education of the modern, classical, and less-commonly taught languages, English as a Second Language and bilingual education, linguistics, research, translation, interpreting – will gather in Washington, D.C. to make the case for increased promotion of and investment in world languages.
