ATIF is dedicated to promoting professional recognition and growth opportunities through educational and training initiatives targeting translation and interpreting professionals in the State of Florida.
The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Florida (ATIF) incorporated in November of 2009 as a non-profit professional association in the State of Florida. It is affiliated with the American Translators Association (ATA) of which it became an official chapter in 2011.
Our organization seeks to support T&I professionals as well as end-users of translation and interpreting services and serves as a resource for the T&I community.
Since our inception we have brought our members as many as ten professional development events per year, making it possible for attendees to obtain Continuing Education points from the Florida Courts, ATA, NAJIT, IMIA, and CCHI at a nearby location and a reasonable cost.
However, a volunteer association is only as strong as the involvement of its members, so we invite you to explore our site, learn about our membership opportunities, and join us in shaping the future of the T&I industry in the State of Florida.
We also count on the generous support of our sponsors in order to keep our activities affordable and to offer discounted membership rates for our events. Please take a moment to learn about the benefits of being an ATIF sponsor and how to become one.
