The ATIF Interim Board is proud to have fulfilled its commitment to ATIF and the membership in general. In compliance with its original commitment to the group, the Interim Board has prepared the supporting structure for elections to be held, and for an elected Board to guide ATIF into the future, following the voice of its membership.
This is a notice that the Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for the positions of: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 3 Directors. The nomination period ends on September 19.
Elections are scheduled to be held on October 19, 2015, the last day to cast votes. Ballots will be made available with the candidates’ statements no later than September 29. The Nominating Committee will have until October 22 to submit a report to the Board with the final tally. And the Board shall announce the results to the membership no later than Friday, October 23.
To nominate a colleague check first that the person is willing to serve, then send an email to the Nominating Committee at atif.nomcom@gmail.com with the following information:
- Nominee’s Name and Email address
- Position you are nominating the person for
- Reason you think that person would be a good candidate

2015 Elections
Who is eligible?
All active members of ATIF not serving on the Nominating Committee or as Supervisor of Elections are eligible to serve on the Board. ATIF currently has 99 members of which 74 are active members, ALL have their credentials on file, making them eligible to run for office.
How are candidates nominated?
The Nominating Committee will propose candidates and accept nominations from the membership at large. Members may nominate themselves, as long as they are active ATIF members whose credentials are on file. The nomination period will be from July 31st through September 19.
How will the voting take place?
ATIF makes use of electronic voting to expedite the process and reduce costs.
How will we know who is running?
Slates will be presented to the membership 30 days before ballots are made available (either by mail or electronically). Candidates will submit statements to the membership as part of their campaign. Members will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the candidates.
When will we receive our ballots?
Ballots will be made available (hard copy or electronically) at least 20 (twenty) days before the election itself.
