The largest marine sanctuary in the U.S. National Parks system. It is made up of four ecosystems: coastal mangrove hammocks, Biscayne Bay’s shallow lagoon waters, coral limestone keys and the third-largest offshore reef in the world. Among other activities, the park offers guided boat tours: the Park After Dark Evening Sunset Bay Cruise; the Heritage of Biscayne Cruise, a three-hour tour of Biscayne Bay’s waters; and the Stiltsville Guided Historic Tour.

A cluster of seven islands, composed of coral reefs and sand, surrounded by shoals, noted for bird and marine life and shipwrecks. Fort Jefferson is its central feature. It is also one of the most remote parks in the National Park System. Located approximately 70 miles west of Key West it is accessible only by a daily concession ferry, private boats, charter boats, or seaplane. There is no cellular service or wi-fi at the Dry Tortugas.
Home to more than 6,000 animal species, the only coral barrier reef in the continental United States, extensive seagrass beds, mangrove-fringed islands, historical submerged shipwrecks and other archeological findings.
